Best Places to Get Matching PJs for You & Your Roomies

By Alyssa Fell

What’s better than a movie night with your roomies? A movie night with snacks and matching PJs, of course. As we continue to battle the pandemic and the cold weather, here are the 10 best places to get matching pajamas for you and your roomies.

Nordstrom

Price: $20- $200

While Nordstrom is on the pricier side, they offer a wide variety of styles. From soft pajama shorts to a matching thermal set, Nordstrom has you covered. My favorite sets are these thermal pajamas by BP and jersey pajamas by Honeydew Intimates.

Mate

Price: $48- $78

The sustainable sleepwear by Mate is made from Tencel, a lightweight and biodegradable fabric, and organic cotton. Their three styles are offered in a wide range of sizes, from XS to 3X. Mate’s sleepwear comes in earth tones and its organic, flowy fit is great for any season.

GAP

Price: $14- $59

GAP has great loungewear, whether it’s for a movie night or just to wear for day-to-day comfort. From classic plaid pants to long sleeve t-shirts, GAP’s pieces allow for mixing and matching. My favorite pairing is the Ribbed Drop Needle Henley T-Shirt in pine green and the Flannel Pajama Shorts in green and red plaid.

Madewell

Price: $45- $98

Although Madewell offers less variety than the other sites listed, it has quality pajamas and loungewear. It is on the pricier side, but if you are looking to splurge, this is the place to shop. The Striped Waffle Knit set and Knit Bedtime Long-Sleeve set are cute picks.

J.Crew

Price: $40 - $142

J. Crew’s matching sets are the perfect pajamas. This waffle henley pajama set is great for year-round wear, while the fun patterned sets are just what you need for the holiday season and beyond. Again, if you’re looking to splurge, check out J. Crew.

Hanna AndersSon

Price: $30- $52

Hanna Andersson has classic pajamas with fun patterns and colorful looks. Their polar bear print was my pick for the 2020 holiday season. However, like most of the brands on this list, the pieces are sold separately which could make the collective set more expensive.

Aerie by American Eagle

Price: $24- $60

Aerie’s pieces are soft, cozy, and high quality. The pieces are sold separately, but are perfect to mix and match. For a night in, you can’t pass up their flannel joggers or the wide array of fuzzy slippers.

Anthropologie

Price: $44- $180

Anthropology’s sleepwear has bohemian vibes. Again, it is on the more expensive side but perfect if you’re searching for a dreamy pajama shirt, pant, or short. Also, make sure to shop the slipper section!

Target, Old Navy, and GAP are my go-tos for my roomies and myself. Despite the appeal of the other brands, it’s these three brands that have the most affordable pajamas.
