Unsure where I am

I close my eyes

And see an orchestra of birds

I thank the huffing garbage truck approaching

The roaring of a train

And the sample of Reggaeton dancing passed my window

There come the bells of St. Cyprian's Church

Echoing eight times

Rippling through the crisp Boston air

A testament to the lessons of the past hour

And the promise of the next

I'm in Tuesday morning

I can see this moment

Even more clearly than when my eyes were open
