Best Beauty Looks from London Fashion Week Fall 2016

Kicking off the European shows on the runways in London, here are some of the best beauty looks from London Fashion Week Fall 2016.

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi

This season, Preen presented a dark romantic, gothic collection. To go with the bold looks, makeup artists took a minimalist approach to graphic eyeliner by combining grey eyeshadow and water then applying with an angled eyeliner brush. Their beauty looks kept the rest of the hair and face simple to emphasize the eyes.

Vivienne Westwood Red Label

The trend of imperfect beauty looks from NYFW made its way across the pond. An example of this is the nail look at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label show where nail artists airbrushed pink details on the models purposely getting a bit of polish on the skin. The idea was a free-spirited girl, putting her makeup on in a rush.

Topshop Unique

The graphic black eyeliner trend is still going strong this season, most notably at the Topshop Unique show. This version of the classic cat eye featured a double wing shape. The heavy liner plus the bright magenta lipstick give off a cool ‘80s vibe.

Burberry

Both men and women were donning multi-colored glitter around the eyes and cheekbones at the Burberry presentation. These “glitter tears” are meant to represent tears of joy and to give an eclectic feel.
