Mass College of Art Design Present Spring 2016 Exhibition: SELECTIONS

SELECTIONS features work by MassArt professors who want to showcase their work often in experimental directions or media. The exhibition will include photography, video, sculpture, painting, work on paper, and site-specific installations. The exhibition is being held until March 5th.

Where: Bakalar & Paine Galleries at MassArt

621 Huntington Ave, South Building  Boston, MA 02115

When: Mon – Sat from 12 PM to 6 PM and Wednesday from 12 PM to 8 PM (closed on Sundays).

 

Emerson College Spring Bright Lights Film Series

The Bright Lights screening and talk series is being held by the Department of Visual and Media Arts at Emerson College, who’s mission is to showcase visual media to Emerson College affiliates and the Greater-Boston community. Local and international artists, faculty, and alumni will be featured in the series.

SoWa First Fridays

Starting in February- over 60 artists, 40 boutiques, numerous galleries, and restaurants will be open to the public every first Friday of the month.

MIT Social Swing Dance and Lesson

Are you are interested in learning how to swing dance? If so, MIT is offering a dance social where you can learn how to dance to a wide variety of music from tradition swing to blues and even hip-hop.

Snowball Fight on the Common!

Represent Northeastern in a snowball fight against other Boston area colleges.

Chinese New Year Parade

Welcome the Year of the Monkey by attending the Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown featuring lion dances, music and fireworks.

When: February 14th from 11 AM – 3 PM

 

Free Concert at the New England Conservatory

The Rivers Symphony Orchestra will be performing work by Beethoven, Bach and Haydn in the famous Jordan Hall, just steps away from campus!
